And so we come to the end of the first season of Tokyo Ghoul.
Will Team Anteiku be able to rescue Kaneki?
Will any of the CCG make it out alive?
Can Touka win a fight without depth perception?
Who is this "One-Eyed Owl" person, and couldn't he think of a better name for himself?
All will be revealed tonight. Or perhaps it will end on a cliffhanger which will be resolved in the next episode, with which season two starts. I don't know, I'm a first-time viewer.
Either way, between here and there is an Attack on Titan marathon next Saturday, so let's just focus on this one.
Tokyo Ghoul
Episode 12 - "Ghoul"
During the physical and mental tortures he suffers at the hands of Jason, Kaneki's hair turns white and he sees a vision of Rize.
No spoilers allowed, although "One-Eyed Owl" double entendres are perfectly welcome.

This is it, folks--the last decent episode of the series.
In two weeks, we'll be getting into Root A. This is your last chance to jump ship.

Previously on Tokyo Ghoul: Everybody storms the figurative castle, and Kaneki's looking a bit paler than usual.

What do you think?
Was this guy a guard at an amusement park prison?
This better not end with the whole cast congratulating him.

At least Tsukiyama just wanted to eat him. This is prolonged agony.
Chris Sabat is voicing all the angry people tonight.
Getting Legato Bluesummers vibes from Rize here.

That has actually been known to happen in Japan.

The two of us have very different definitions of "decent".

More information on the karoshi phenomenon.
I'm Batman. I save them both.
Oh, guess not.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

I really, really hate torture porn. And the attempted psychodrama just makes it worse. I can't think of any episode I've seen on Adult Swim or Toonami that I've hated more than this.

Agreed. Not even that episode of that show compares to this.
Just man up already, Kaneki.
