The Starbound Archipelago is a cluster of islands inhabited mainly by Bees, Bears, a variety of insects and some visiting Robloxians. The Starbound Archipelago contains an approximate of 64 islands, with there being??? main islands the player can visit. This is a project currently being tinkered with by Buzzful. All original arts and illustrations present in this article are created by Rezzubrats.
In order to visit the archipelago, the player must have all of the following requirements met:
- The amount of badges including higher tiers (i.e. Gummy Hotshot and Gummy Grandmaster count as separate badges) the player has acquired must be higher than or equal to 45.
- The amount of bees the player has must be higher than or equal to 40.
- The amount of discovered bees including their gifted versions (i.e. Tabby Bee and Gifted Tabby Bee count as separate bees) the player has, must be higher than or equal to 60.
- The amount of times the player has donated 100 Moon Charms to the Moon Amulet Claim must be higher than or equal to 20. (In later updates, the player may use /mc-recount in the chat for a personal notification to appear at the bottom right of the screen detailing the amount of times the player has obtained a Moon Amulet.)
After all of these requirements have been met, a personal notification may appear at any time during night: "The fireflies are beckoning you…" and then: "You feel drawn to follow them." Upon this notification triggers, a red arrow similar to the one appearing when the player hasn't claimed a hive yet will be generated towards the direction of the fireflies. Following the fireflies reveals them unveiling a secret gate that leads to a quiet beach shore with a ferry. The ferryman will charge the player 5,000,000 Honey to enter the Starbound Archipelago, or instead 250,000,000 Honey to buy a Ferry Pass, which is added to the player's wallet and makes all future ferry rides free. If - for some reason - the fireflies are not followed, the notification will appear every night until the player finally follows them.

Upon starting on Isle Stardrosia, the player is decked out with a Pocket Workstation and Beequip Case, alongside a Mixed Egg freebie.
Additionally, the player has a Primary and Secondary tool slot. These will be taken up by the starter Trowel and Watering Can upon loading into the game for the first time respectively. Three Amulet slots will be available at default, but can reach 7 after completion of quests from Jeweler Bear. Armor slots (headpiece, body armor and footwear) are available starting on entering Arcana Peaks.

Isle Stardrosia, previously known as Stardrop Island is the first location unlocked in Starbound Archipelago. Initially accessed via the Ferry, afterwards accessible with the Hot Air Balloon Ride with a Blimp Ticket after the completion of the Isle Stardrosia storyline.
Base Grounds[]
The Base Grounds is what most Bee Swarm Simulator players refer to as a pseudonym for the 0 Bee Gate. Within the Base Grounds is the Everflow River, blocking off a few key regions. However, upon completing some of Carpenter Bear's quests, he creates a bridge that allows the player to venture through the locked area.
Fields[]
Starting from the bottom up, the 0 Bee Gate contains a variety of tropical, desert-themed fields, some of which carry over from the base game, alongside a contrasting green element from the middle to the end section of the zone with plainer fields.
The Base Grounds contain the Cactus Field, Passion Fruit Patch, Palm Tree Forest and Dragon Fruit Patch, concluding the end of the tropical thematics. There are also more plainer fields if the player manages to navigate forward, including Cauliflower Field, Ginger Field, Marrow Field, Honeydew Field, and a peculiar Ant Hill Field as the centerpiece of the zone.
The Cactus Field - during Spring or Summer - may occasionally bear Cactus Fruits which can be fed to your bees to replenish energy instead of granting Bond, although it does grant some Bond if the additional energy maxes out at the bee’s energy capacity (+15 Bond). The Cactus Field - unlike its mountain counterpart - has more of its kind, and is not defended by any animal due to its spiky field exterior that inflicts damage if anything were to touch it.
The Passion Fruit Patch is a field with a circular radius of flowers similar to that of the Stump Field. Similar to nearly all of the fields in the Base Grounds, the Passion Fruit Patch has zero enemies. Passion Fruit can rarely be found from collecting leaves.
The Palm Tree Forest is a similar field to the Coconut Field. The palm trees within the forest can be shaken to drop Coconuts. Not including quests, this is the only source of the Coconuts in the entire game. However, when shaking a palm tree, there is a 10% chance for a Coco Crawler to fall down and attack the player. This is a shelled enemy with the Armored I attribute.
The Dragon Fruit Field has a 0.5% chance to spawn a Dragon Fruit from leaves. It has more of an oval shape, with a small green flower covering, then a thick purple flower section before ending with a white flower middle section.
Following the trend of irregularly-shaped fields, the Cauliflower Field has a circular shape with cauliflowers spread all over it. These cauliflowers occasionally spit out a baby cabbage that rolls around the field, collecting pollen and ability tokens to duplicate after a certain amount of time.
The Ginger Field is a rectangular field with huge chunks of raw ginger spread across the field, alongside some sprouting ginger roots. These roots can be hoed up with a Bronze Hoe or better, a tool obtainable from completing Rancher Bear’s 5th quest. This grants a Magic Bean and Ginger.
The Marrow Field is a peculiarly shaped field with a curved rectangular form. It is filled with marrows, zucchinis and courgettes of various sizes.
The Honeydew Field is the last of the circular fields (at least for the Base Grounds hehe). It has a couple of honeydews that are placed on the field. Out of all the base ground fields, this one has the most chance of spawning leaves.
Starter Shop[]
As with every location, there is a shop. First off is the Starter Shop owned by Starter Bear. He sells the following pollen collecting tools:
- Trowel - A small shovel-like tool that’s handy for gardening. Collects 16 pollen from 2 flowers in a straight line every 2.3 seconds. (14 pollen per second)
- Shears - The classic shears. You can barely make out a bit of rusting, though. Collects 7.3 pollen from 5 flowers in a diamond pattern every 1.7 seconds. (21 pollen per second.)
- Plunger - Not the best tool for gardening, but surprisingly not the worst either. Collects 9.5 pollen from 8 flowers surrounding you every 2.6 seconds. (29 pollen per second.)
- Lawnmower - This gas-operated machine can chew through pollen pretty quickly. Collects 8 pollen from 6 flowers in a rectangular pattern. Collects pollen every 1.2 seconds, just requires it to be powered on every minute for 10 seconds. (40 pollen per second.)
- Volt Rake - A highly advanced version of a rake with a built-in electricity system. Collects 9.9 pollen from 8 flowers in 1.5 seconds. (53 pollen per second.)
Starter Bear sells the following containers:
- Pollen Canister - A little tag suggests this may have been a repurposed jar of honey! Stores 400 pollen.
- Backpack - It’s just a regular old backpack. It’s a leap from the previous option. Stores 700 pollen.
- Comically Large Crate - What you see is what you get! Stores 4,000 pollen.
- Tropical Drums - A pair of drums, combined totaling a store space of 11,000 pollen. How? No one’s too sure…
- Barrel O’ Nectar - Old barrel made of quality wood. Stores 24,000 pollen.
- Passive: Aged Nectar - Every 30 seconds, 500 pollen will increase by 10% in value once turned into honey. Works on three 500 pollen bunches, before requiring a deep conversion (convert 5,000 whole pollen, not counting the bonus from this passive) to reuse.
- Heated Canister - It seems highly futuristic. The label at the end says “0/55,500”.
- Passive: Liquefy Nectar - Clicking Q discharges 4,444 honey (5s cooldown), but grants an extra storage capacity of +2,000, up to 5 times for 60 seconds max. Then has a lengthy cooldown of 1 minute and 20 seconds.
Hats, boots and secondary items:
- Adventurer’s Cap - It’s the standard cap for heavy duty adventurers. Grants +10% Pollen, and x1.15 Defense.
- Heavy Duty Boots - Quality footwear to protect your toes from mud and overflowing pollen. +5% Movespeed and +1 Jump Power.
- Pickaxarang - A horrid congregation of pickaxe and a boomerang. Cuts through stone and flowers at top speed, returning back where it came from a few seconds later.
- Watering Can: Humble old watering can. Hydrates 4 flowers in a cross pattern except for the middle by 1 layer every 2.5 seconds. Requires refills at any water source (rivers, fountains, wells, any will do.)
Other Locations of Note[]
The Fountain of Healing is an interactable location. Pressing E whilst nearby to regenerate 2.5% every second for 10 seconds. Has a cooldown of 30 minutes. The healing effects also alleviate third-rate illnesses and debuffs. The fountain is located outside of Starter Bear’s shop.
Upon completion of Retired Sieging Bee’s quest, the Scintillating Ballista will be available for renovations. The Scintillating Ballista works similarly to a field booster, except it can be upgraded to trigger a specific field or even increase the amount of mobs and mob loot from fields. At maximum, it can trigger three specific fields, increase mob loot by +20%, and mobs appear 1.4x more often. Cooldowns are also decreased by 45% for the duration of the fields’ boosts. It is located at the topmost part of the leaves of the tallest coconut tree, with wooden palm stairs that wrap around the tree’s trunk.
The Merchant’s Plot is usually an empty, rectangular plot of land fenced with wooden barriers. During special occasions (or during Merchant Mondays and Sunday Sales), the plot will open up with Merchant Bear inside. He can only be interacted to purchase his exotic goods at high markup, but there is a planned questline and the lot for him. It is located nearby the Dragonfruit Field.
NPCs[]
This section is currently unfinished. Please wait for the page owner to add more information.
Carpenter Bear[]
Carpenter Bear is a male quest giver and interactable NPC that allows you to construct or reconstruct various buildings in the island. He is one of the four accessible NPCs in the Base Grounds (0 Bee Gate), the others being Artisan Bear, Rancher Bear and Merchant Bear. He is located inside of his Stonemasonry Workshop.
His Quests - as a starter bear - are of easy difficulty, although the difficulty ramps up quite fast. Most of his quests include collecting pollen and resources from various fields. Completing one of his Quest milestones, he will build a brand new building.
Every 5th quest completed, he will unlock a brand new building. They are the Greenhouse, which can be seeded with 50x, 500x, or 5,000x of a type of field treat (depending on the size/level of your Greenhouse) to simulate a customizable field, the Billboard, which contains daily quests from all NPCs, the Composter, which decomposes a type of treat into Fertilizer, TBA, and TBA respectively.

Dialogue[]
Quest Name | Dialogue |
---|---|
Intro to Artisanship | Well hello there, rookie Beekeeper. Although I sense a feeling. A feeling that you've done all of this before. It's that sharp gleam in your eyes... hmm... I've got it! Honeydew Mountains, isn't it? I've been there before, quite a lovely little place, I'm sure you know. Ah, about me. I forgot to introduce myself. I go by many nicknames and aliases. An epicure. A gastronome. An aesthete. But one... one alias sticks out from the others. "Artisan". All of these are words which here mean a craftsperson skilled in a certain trade, especially in food. And lo, you may call me... Artisan Bear! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time exploring the beautiful expanse of our island. I can guarantee. This place is truly serene. Oh, wait. I truly had forgotten. A quest, isn't that right? Entertain me with your beekeeping expertise by collecting a bit of pollen and converting it at hive. Just wait a bit. Here we are! I've loaded the quest into your quest menu. Happy beekeeping.
You won't need to worry about terrorizing bugs and beetles in fields here and there. Rancher Bear, one of my close friends, put pesticide all over the fields here in the Base Grounds. Of course, he went a bit too wild and didn't have any left for the other zones. -Completion- Truly marvelous work. I knew you had it in you. By golly, I'm sure you'll be an artisan in no time. If you'd like, come back for another quest. For this was only a shallow delve to the world of artisanship. I'll see you soon. |
Honey Dichotomy | The phrase "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar" implies that you are more likely to get what you want by acting in a sweet way than in a distasteful way, like vinegar. The same is true for your bees, of course. I mean, they are the ones who make the honey themselves, but treating your bees wrong will sadden and depress them. They'll lose motivation and drain energy faster, becoming an unproductive member of the hive. That's why you'll need to treat your bees with kindness as well. You are not necessarily the "owner" of the hive, think of it more as bonding with your buzzing peers. You are equals. For without the bees, you can't collect honey. And without you... the bees can't gather enough pollen to turn into said honey. Ah... enough of the monologue. I've loaded up your second quest in your Quest Tab. I'll see you soon.
It's important to get to know your bees to the best of your abilities. Learn its favorite treats, or its favorite fields! Or, I mean uh... (ahem) just look at the wiki. I know you've glanced in there one or two. No harm in that, whatsoever though. -Completion- Awesome sauce. A phrase which here means... Awesome. I'll see you soon. For now, though, you can have this honey. Perhaps a special reward soon down the line? Who knows. |
The Rarest Hue | In all of nature, color proves to be an essential element. The same is true for the flowers, of course. Even in this island. Yet one color is far rarer than others, that appears extremely rarely within plants, fungi and animals. Yet it appears so frequently within this wonderful yet mystical island. That's right. The color blue. Blue bees. Blue flowers. Blue animals! Do Rhino Beetles count? Oh, those exotic insectoids make their home on the mountains and on this island here. And yet blue appears so frequently, blue is such a magical color, wouldn't you think? From the raging tides of the ocean which many adventurers traversed, to the majestic and magnificent skies. It truly strikes me with awe, don't you feel the same? Alright, alright. I've placed your next quest in your Quest Tab. -During- Speaking of the ocean, there's a certain phrase which many cartographers and adventurers alike use. "Uncharted waters". It is a phrase which refers to locations that do not appear on a map, but it can also describe any place or anything that is unknown. From the darkest depths of the sea... To one's own future, which cannot be known until it arrives. -Completion- Ground breaking work indeed. Literally and figuratively. Come back for your next quest. I'm still thinking of a "grand reward". Soon, dear beekeeper. Soon. |
Mini Mountain Meandering | The phrase "making a mountain out of a molehill" refers to someone being histrionic-a word which here means overly exaggerated and melodramatic- about a minor cause. But today, we're moving to the Ant Hill Field, where you'll need to collect a mountain of pollen. The honey there is... how do I say it... aged. Aged, just like wine. The nimble limbs of the diligent worker ant allows it to mold an exotic and more flavorful kind of honey. I have a chamber filled to the brim with honey, and an entire cabinet of Ant Hill honey, and don't you know it's one of the most finest collections in the entire world! Why, one would give up their Supreme Star Amulet just to get a peek inside of there! But you - yes you - you're special. You're like me. Maybe in the end, I'll give you access to my Honey Emporium. Just perhaps. -During- Still going strong, aren't you? You know what they say... practice makes perfect. You can refine your honey-making skills and create the finest collection as well. If you just put your back into it. Of course, that's what Spirit Bear used to say. It's pretty ironic, isn't it? Yes, she visits the island from time to time. I don't know how though. She just appears out of thin air, no one's ever seen here boarding the ferry. It's like she has a secret passageway that connects both of our worlds. (Artisan Bear shrugs it off.) About that quest... -Completion- |
A Harvest of Honeydews | The honeydew. It grows on particularly sandy soil on vines, making it perfect for the sandy shores of the Base Grounds. It's particularly tasty, culinarily utilized in salad dishes and cold beverages. [Tropical Salad] and [Summer Smoothies], specifically, can be cooked up from over the cliff there, Michelle's restaurant. She seems angry and cranky on the outside, but inside she's just a real heartikin. I bet you can manage to persuade her and temporarily take over the kitchen. How? Just one quest. I know. Seems wild. But I did it once. It was... pretty bad. I was cooking at snail's pace. (Artisan Bear chuckles.) Ah... all this talk about honeydews. Why don't you collect 4,000 Pollen from the Honeydew Field, and convert 4,500 honey at hive? -During- (Artisan Bear seems to be practicing the guitar, picking and plucking at the strings.) (Better not disturb her for now.) -Completion- |
Fruit of Passion | The world is still for a moment. The woods are quiet here. Perhaps some silent lament? For who we lost on our way here. Ahem. Hello, welcome back. Did you know passion fruits are really healthy? They contain medicinal properties used in the treatment of various ailments such as hypertension, heart disease, and even cancer. In fact, let me inform you of a trivial fact about passion fruit. The passionflower is where passion fruit originates. Though foreseeably, that's not the bulk of the fact. 16th century Spanish Christian missionaries used said flower to powerfully illustrate with faithful and great hirquitalliency the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. They utilized the flower's unique characteristics to symbolize the crown of thorns, nails, cords, wounds, or scourges, etc. During this time, it was called "flor das cinco chagas". The Flower of the Five Wounds. That's pretty cool, isn't it? In addition to all that, passion fruit comes in 4 colors! Yellow, red, purple, and green. Here on this island, our Passion Fruit Field is purple. Pleased to say that appears to be the most popular color variant. Definitely attracts a lot more visitors here. -During- Another minutiae, if you will: Passion fruit is used traditionally for its anti-spasm and anti-anxiety properties. -Completion- |
Heat of the Moment | Occasionally, when we encounter something we prize, most likely a loved one, we get a burning feeling deep inside of us. Perhaps it is within our hearts? Or within our chest or stomach? It would likely explain the popular phrase: "butterflies in one's stomach." Yes, I too, have experienced such events. A true fondness for my profession and art, an artisanal attachment, if you will. Some bees, mostly Red bees, channel their zeal for honeymaking and pollen collection into actual, tangible, flames. It is within the firelight where they find their second home, encouraging them to work better, faster, and more productively. It is both magical and astonishing. Emotions can conjure and affect one's power. And perhaps the strongest of those emotions... is found in the heat of the moment. -During- I invite you to embrace the fire within which the bees may find a secondary refuge. -Completion- |
Somewhere Safe to Sea | Welcome, beekeeper. Do tell, was the previous quest enlightening in any way? The warmth of the firelight, the incineration of the flame itself. Two sides of the same coin. Do you see yourself in it? Like the bees do? Within, can you find a version of yourself which you pursue? A kind of yourself better than the rest? If you do, then beautiful. I suggest going on the path of the warmth. But be wary, do not be too close to the fire. If not, and you see nothing but the blaze, there are nevertheless other options to select from. For now, we shall investigate a cerulean life. Do remember, there are regional deities from all islands on this archipelago. Some may be more oriented to gods of the light and the pyre, others may refrain from it. In spite of that, from too much love of living, from hope and fear set free, we thank with brief thanksgiving whatever gods may be. That no life lives forever; that dead bees rise up never; that even the weariest river... winds somewhere safe to sea. -During- It is unwise to choose a singular hue this early on. Quests like mine will punish you with tasks which relate to activities of the other color. There are... some... ways to combat this. Perhaps you'll find out, or have you known already? -Completion- |
Grizzly Bear[]
Grizzly Bear is a semi-permanent Quest giver and shopkeeper in Isle Stardrosia that can be accessed at the Base Grounds as a fisher through the completion of one of Carpenter Bear's quests, and then at the 15 Bee Gate as a scientist. His quests revolve around fishing, and then bombs or anything related to explosives. At the end of every quest, Grizzly Bear grants either Dynamite, Gasoline, Molotovs, or Grenades.
Grizzly Bear currently has 3 Questlines, the first being an introduction to fishing. On completion, he will grant the player unlimited access to a new island with his Vulco Pass and create a Grand Aquarium where the player can fill with their acquired fishes and aquatic creatures.
The second unlocks a Tsar Treat alongside his Demolition Goggles as a permanent beequip. Upon acquiring the Demolition Goggles beequip, Grizzly Bear will lose the goggles from his face.
His third Questline revolves around his insanity. Having gone cuckoo, likely because of one of his experimentations, he needs your help to create a nuke and hypothetically end the world.

Features[]

Weather System[]
Every in-game day will have a 1/20 chance to rain. During rainy days, clouds will become enhanced, this makes them have a longer duration, allows them to grow sprouts faster, and even passively growing nearby planters. Additionally, the Honeystorm Beacon is only interactable during rainy or stormy days, which summons an artificial Honeystorm. Honeystorms in Stardrop Island are far more powerful and range in honey depending on the amount of progress the player has made. Passively, rainy days will speed up the progress of the seeds in your treat garden, up to 120% that of a normal day's growth.
Additionally, in-game day has a 1/50 chance to become a stormy day (1/35 chance with the Lightning Rod hoisted at night). Stormy days come with the same benefits as rainy days but also increase the effectiveness of Honeystorms. Furthermore, Nova's Meteor Caller in her observatory can only be called during stormy days (summoning a Mythic Meteor Shower).
Honeystorms in Stardrop Island, as stated before, are stronger than their mountain counterparts due to the Honey Tokens' values ranging depending on the player's progress. Every day has a 1/40 chance to begin with a Honeystorm. These "natural" Honeystorms provide 10% more value than manual, "artificial" Honeystorms by using the Honeystorm Beacon.
However, Mythic Meteor Showers in Stardrop Island are entirely exclusive to Nova Bear's Meteor Caller (which requires the completion of her first questline unless the player has a Star Fragment). A very rare "Star Fragment" item can be acquired from meteors or from a gifted bee creating the Star Fragment token by being in one of their favorite fields during a meteor shower (0.1%). These Star Fragments have a capacity of 25, and allow the possibility of natural Mythic Meteor Showers, starting at 1 in 400, and lessening by 5 every other Star Fragment obtained.
Fishing[]
Fishing is one of the main mechanics in Stardrop Island. On Grizzly Bear's first interaction, he will grant the player access to a Basic Rod. Afterwards, any lake or river can be fished in by pressing F, replacing the player's collector with the fishing rod of their choice. When fishing, the rod is cast and the camera is pointed towards the bobber. The bobber will fake-bob up to 5 times before finally bobbing (with sparkles for extra visibility) and the player must press F again in order to acquire the fish.
Fishes have 5 rarities: Basic, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Mythic Fishes are almost always caught once per save file. They also have different sizes: Tiny, Average, Large, and Colossal. The sizes determine the weight and amount of slots they take in the player's fishing container. Enough weight can hinder the player's speed by triggering the "Overencumbered" debuff indefinitely until sold or placed elsewhere.
Another storage space for the player's fishing haul is at Grizzly Bear's fishing stand, which can store up to 500 slots of every kind of Fish. However, it WILL be sold after 5 days without returning for them. The last and most efficient storage for them is at the Homestead, which can be renovated to make room for a cold room if the player wishes so.
Greenhouses & Specific Botany[]
The Greenhouse (not to be confused by the Garden) is unlocked on the completion of Carpenter Bear's fifth quest. It requires 50, 500, or 5,000 of one type of treat and simulate a field from those treats (e.g. 500 Lychee simulates an intermediate-level Lychee field). There are three levels of simulated fields: simple (which has first and second tier flowers), intermediate (which has second, third tier and large flowers) and expert, (which has large and star flowers). Most field representing treats are more diverse and scarcer than regular treats back on the mountain. The player requires to fuel the Greenhouse with fertilizer every 5 days or else the simulated field will decay and die. 1 day before the simulated field decays, a personal announcement will appear at the start of the day or by entering the server at that time.
With an Advanced Greenhouse, mobs that were to guard the imitated field (e.g. treehoppers in the Baobab Field) will appear in the greenhouse. Their respawn duration and time limit can be changed, with longer time giving better rewards. Additionally, leaves will start appearing and can be foraged for items. Vicious Bee's Gifted Hive Bonus only applies to the greenhouse mobs at the last and final stage of the greenhouse.
With a Deluxe Greenhouse, the time limit for Fertilizer refueling is reduced to every 12 days. But rewards will still become slightly less rare every day after the 5th day it hasn't been refueled (caps at 10th day). But at peak efficiency, field loot will become rarer and pollen will be more bountiful. This is the only Greenhouse in the game which allows Planters to be planted here (although with a 10% slower growth speed debuff).
Combat[]
The combat on the archipelago is distinct from that of the mountainside. There are new effects that are rooted and will only remain in combat, new statistics for bees, and etc.
Combat status effects, separate from regular buffs and debuffs:
Name | Description | Source | Counter |
---|---|---|---|
Wounded | Injured by a wound. Energy wanes and weakens. | A chance to be inflicted from a foe's critical hit. |
|
Overexerted | Encumbered by its stamina in the heat of battle. | Inflicted when a bee uses an ability that costs more energy than it currently has. |
|
Dazed | Temporarily stunned by heavy attacks. | A chance to be inflicted upon the bees being inflicted by the foes' heavy blows or attacks arcane. | None. |
Additionally, with the advent of newer bee combat comes a new Health statistic for bees.
Botany[]
By entering Cosmo Bear's Nova Laboratory and using the Treat Compressor, placing any treat into that slot after 5-30 minutes depending on the rarity and potency of the treat, will turn the treat(s) into a Seed Packet. Seed Packets can be placed into the Garden (maximum of 30 Seed Packets since there are 30 soil slots) and will start to grow. Every day, Rancher Bear will take care of your seeds for you and will water them daily (with the exception of during rainy or stormy days). After a period of days has gone by, your treats will become available to harvest. The Garden can be unlocked by reaching 10 Bees and entering the 10 Bee Gate.
In this table, it shows the list of farmable treats, the time it takes before they turn into Seed Packets, the amount of in-game days it takes to be fully grown, and the amount of treats each slot will give when harvested. Note: This chart may not be fully complete.
Treat Name | Compression Time | Days Until Harvest | Treats Per Slot |
---|---|---|---|
Lychee | 5m | 3 days | 1-3 |
Baobab Fruit | 5m | 4 days | 2-5 |
Jackfruit | 7m | 3.5 days | 4 |
Cauliflower | 30m | 7 days | 1 |
Bamboo | 15m | 5 days | 5-7 |
Dragonfruit | 20m | 10 days | 8 |
Rhubarb | 12.5m | 6 days | 3-6 |
Daily Quest Billboard[]
The Daily Quests Billboard is a wooden structure built by Carpenter Bear after completing his 10th quest. Every in-game day, two random quest givers will offer one random quest. These have to be completed before the day ends, or else the quests will reset and all progress is lost. Here is a work in progress list of every Quest Bear's daily quest:
Carpenter Bear | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|
Quest Name | Description | Requirements | Rewards | Source |
Baobab Inquiry | With the help of [Player Name], I've successfully finished the greenhouse! For a first test, would someone hand-deliver me 20 Baobab Fruits? | Give 20x Baobab Fruits to Carpenter Bear | N/A | Completing the greenhouse |
Greenhouse Infestation | I'm having a treehopper problem in the greenhouse! I tried simulating a baobab tree field, but for some reason they won't stop spawning! | Defeat 20 Treehoppers in the Greenhouse | 25x Bamboo 25x Baobab Fruit | Advanced Greenhouse must be unlocked |
A Rocky Request | I require 300 stone for my next project. If anyone could fulfill my request, I'd be very glad! Of course, I'll make it worth your time. | Give 300x Stone to Carpenter Bear | 5x Dragonfruit Seed Packets | The Mines must be unlocked |
The Composter Test | Treats of all kinds will be bountiful once more! ...I'll just need someone to get me 50 Lychee... | Give 50x Lychee to Carpenter Bear | 1x Fertilizer | A day after completing the composter |
Homestead[]
The Homestead can be found in the 15 Bee Gate but can be moved to the 0, 5, 10, 20, 25 or 30 Bee Gate by using the Building Modifier in Carpenter Bear's Stonemasonry Workshop. The Homestead contains the Fridge, which is a larger version of the portable refrigerator that the player can obtain from fishing. It can hold an infinite amount of fish. Completing Carpenter Bear's 20th quest unlocks The Homestead. Before completion of the quest, it will appear broken down and in ruins.
Upgrading The Homestead via the Building Modifier to its second tier: Big House, will allow you to unlock The Cellar. The Cellar contains three kegs at default, which can be used to ferment items such as Dragonfruit and Nectarine into Wine. More Kegs can be bought from Carpenter Bear's Shop. The Homestead's third and final tier: Deluxe House unlocks the Attic. The Attic can be furnished and turned into whatever the player wants via the Building Modifier. The Homestead's rundown front yard garden will also be turned into a mini garden at the Deluxe House tier.
An Abandoned Field Booster can be found in the attic, which can be refurbished into a Glittering Field Booster, which allows you to choose one field to boost like Glitter but without consuming any materials. The Glittering Field Booster can be used once every 16 hours.
Furthermore, a Grandfather Clock can be seen in the attic as well. This acts as a miniature Wealth Clock but instead requires you to power it first before starting to work again (this also gives you the rewards). It also takes only 30 minutes to reuse again. With that, the Grandfather Clock summons only tickets and a random full stack of ability tokens (e.g. 10x Focus). When all bees are discovered (does not require their Gifted counterparts), the Grandfather Clock has a 1/5 chance to spawn a random Gifted bee to help with your hive for 5 minutes.
Additionally, there is a switchable hive of 25 bees in the attic: the Decrepit Hive. These can be switched for your first 25 or last 25 slots once every in-game day. After using the Statue of Ascension, this 25 bee hive in the attic will transform into a teleporter to your main hive, which your bees are now fused with, totaling to 75 bee slots. At first, the decrepit hive will have no bees, and the player is required to hatch bees into them.
Seasons[]
There are four main seasons in Starbound Archipelago: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. This mechanic is currently being worked on.
Events[]
This section is currently unfinished. Please wait for the page owner to add more information.
Petal Festival[]
The Petal Festival is the first event every year on Stardrop Island, starting on the 6th-8th of January to the 10th of February. It lasts 35 days at most. During this time, Merchant Bear will sell a thematic set of items, including but not limited to the Blossom Cap beequip, Flower Umbrella gliding tool, and Lily Liquidator sprinkler skin. This festival includes the Banquet of Bouquets, which takes place randomly every 2 days across all time zones, where all the Bears gather in the 15 Bee Gate to begin a Banquet. The player must place one dish or consumable item to the banquet. Afterwards, the player can taste each of the Bears' dishes, and all the Bears will taste each others', including yours. The player cannot redo the banquet.
The following things will happen depending on your item of choice:
- A rare, edible item will give the Heart of the Festival event-permanent boost, which stays until the whole event is finished. Heart of the Festival eases all quest requirements and grants higher rewards.
- A common, edible item will give the Festive Feast boost, which lasts for 5 hours, granting a discount to all treats from the Bounty Hall's Treat Section.
- An inedible item will give the Disgrace of the Festival event-permanent boost, which stays for the duration of the event. Hardens all quest requirements and slightly lessens all quest rewards.
After the Banquet of Bouquets, all of the Bears will return to their normal stations and you can complete one Petal Festival quest from each Quest Bear every week, for a total of 5 quests. Completing each quest of this event grants Petal Tokens, which is the currency used for the Merchant Bear's event limited quest, alongside the Botanist Travelling Shop. Their trades are listed below:
Merchant Bear's trades are listed below:
Name | Description | Petal Token Cost |
---|---|---|
Blossom Cap | A neat red cap adorned with white flowers. Red bees enjoy this lovely beequip. | 250 PT |
Flower Umbrella skin | Transform your Paraglider into a Marry Poppins-esque flower umbrella to break your fall. | 750 PT |
Lily Liquidator skin | A sprinkler skin exclusive to the Petal Festival. Adds a lily ornament to the tip of your sprinkler head. | 1,000 PT |
Floral Dart | Ammunition for your Blowgun. Pollinates nearby flowers while damaging enemies! | 1,250 PT |
Flower Planter Scrimshaw | A reference guide to scrimshawing a floral pattern on your planter. | 2,000 PT |
The Botanist Travelling Shop will be added on the next Petal Festival, with no accompanying trade leaks.
The Petal Festival has one additional minigame where players can earn extra Petal Tokens. This is the Wheel of Fortune, where the player can bet on 1 of 4 (2 out of 4 with the Heart of the Festival buff) sections of the wheel. The player can earn OR lose their Petal Tokens as it is not guaranteed to make you win, making it risky.
Bees[]
This section is currently unfinished. Please wait for the page owner to add more information.
Bees are the main source of pollen and honey in Starbound Archipelago, and the main goal to strive towards is getting more of them. At the Farmstead, the player can claim a Hive (out of 6) which summons all previously hatched bees. By default, the player has 25 Hive Slots and can purchase more at the Marketplace, up to a total of 25 more. Additionally, a Decrepit Hive located at the player's Homestead allows the player to switch the top half of the player's Hive with the other.
While most statistics of Bees from Bee Swarm Simulator remain unchanged, Bees now have a standard health count of 40; and are mainly upgraded with the use of temporary health boosts. As an addition, the common rarity has been expunged as well as Basic Bee. A new addition, Traits may occur from bees via Trait Treat or other happenstances. Traits mold bees and what they can do and can't do. The opposite of these Traits are Quirks. Quirks grant debuffs to bees randomly, and can be cleansed via the Sanitarium.
Colors of bees may come in two, singular or double. For example, Dune Bee has both Colorless and Yellow Bees, having both of their buffs at the cost of them being drastically debuffed.
Rare Bees[]
Replaces the common rarity of bees. Rare Bees are most likely obtained from Mixed Eggs.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Dune Bee | A solitary bee adjusted to the barren wastelands of the desert. Though oft found sulking, Dune Bee is also quite caring, rationing out treats to other bees when fed and can purify water. |
Charismatic Bee | Wielding its charisma, this bee can truly work a crowd! |
Vexing Bee | Irksome fellow that enjoys taunting its targets. Though small, it is quite nimble for its size. |
Priestess Bee | Holy and just, Priestess Bee has two masters; you and her infallible god. She performs decent health amelioration, but only heals herself via faithful prayers. |
Sleuth Bee | A bee that enjoys playing detective. It has a great affinity for solving mysteries and clandestine operations. |
Pioneer Bee | The younger relative of Vanguard Bee and Copycat Bee, this bee is an excellent innovator and is well versed in most sciences. |
Epic Bees[]
The same as the vanilla bees, except most of these replace other pre-existing bees. Epic Bees are less likely to be obtained from Mixed Eggs as they are from incubating a Scientific Egg in the Incubator for 2.5 hours and 25 Tickets.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Scrivener Bee | A lover of all things journalism! This bee rushes into battle with passion, observing and jotting down weaknesses of your foes. |
Myrmidon Bee | Peculiar in nature and motivation, this bee likes to find and serve a bee of higher rarity than it. Mayhap it serves the bee more than the beekeeper itself... |
Sommelier Bee | A bon vivant amongst his peers, he ferments pollen he gathers and increase their honey value over time! |
Aviator Bee | Donning a bomber hat and a leather flight suit, this bee takes to the skies and bombards the field with explosives that detonate upon contact! |
Soothsayer Bee | Fired from its old job at the circus after predicting ample amounts of misfortune on their clients. Perhaps this bee can turn your luck around! |
Lunatic Bee | Crazed and zealous, this bee blathers stressful speeches and ramblings that may make your hive uncomfortable. Nevertheless, this is furthermore intensified against your enemies. |
Luchador Bee | The reigning champion of the National Honeycombs Lucha Libre! His powerful brawling skills can bewilder and astound his competition, but most importantly, his audience. |
Oblivious Bee | Always in their own world, this bee often strays from your path. It more so enjoys raking through leaves and finding loot in them. |
Pacifist Bee | Straying from the beaten path, this bee finds solace in unity and harmony. Performs excellently when collaborating, yet the same cannot be said when danger is afoot. |
Legendary Bees[]
These bees have an extremely slim chance to be obtained from Mixed Eggs, whereas they have a higher chance to be obtained by incubating a Premium Egg into the Incubator for 5 hours and 100 Tickets each.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Crackshot Bee | Firearms are its livelihood, trained and raised with them during even its younger days. Though fully blind, this bee is an unerring marksman and a colossal cannon incarnate. |
Occultist Bee | Practitioner of the dark arts, this bee is as close to the darkness as a bee can be without being corrupted by the Blackest Pitch. |
Adamant Bee | A great leader, above all things. Stubborn and set on achieving its fixed goal, this bee will pull through no matter what! To the bitter end! |
Herald Bee | Symbiotically in relationships with Scrivener Bees, gathering information for this bee to announce. It uses its powerful voice and equally, if not noisier megaphone to alert your bees! |
Special Bees[]
This type of bee replaces ALL Mythic Bees, and instead allows for several new sub-rarities to occur. Special Bees have no set eggs they can be hatched from, but instead have individualized methods and requirements to obtain them.
Cosmic | |
---|---|
Name | Description |
Stargazer Bee | A recluse prince from a distant kingdom, he has a strong affinity for the stars. An astronomer at heart, he uses celestial star-spawned powers to battle foes and galvanize your honeymaking. |
Resplendent Bee | Banished from a distant kingdom, this ex-duchess engaged in rituals written in antediluvian eons, long forgotten by now. One such strenuous evocation transformed her into a half-celestial, apotheosized to the very extremities. |
Gluttonous Bee | Cursed out of his domain and hexed with an everlasting spell that makes him crave even the slightest drop of water or the smallest crumb from a biscuit, this former-king is a gluttonous bee that will gruesomely DEVOUR others if left unfed. However, keeping him satiated will reap you sizeable windfalls! |
Abyssal | |
Piscator Bee | A call emanates from the deep, and she shall answer! Venturing every edge of the globe, this bee has grown a particular fondness for an ornate eastern weapon; the kusarigama. She utilizes this powerful tool at blinding fast speed - perhaps even quick enough to dispatch something truly abyssal... |
Pelagic Bee | A master of naval warfare, he is trained for combat in any marine environment, whether that bee in knee-deep swamps, shallow shores or fights entirely submerged underwater. With his trusty and razor-sharp spear, he can pierce through foes and finish them with barehand martial arts! |
Sunken Bee | Above, roaring waves. Beneath, a bee sulking in the deepest reaches of the seas. Exposed to only tiny pinpricks of biofluorescent lifeforms, this bee is extremely sensitive to sunlight but far more powerful in the night. |
Valorous | |
Terpsichorean Bee | This nimble bee, mesmerizing and deadly in equal measure, offers abundant benefits to any hive. While buttressing her allies over the course of her performance, she concludes her plays in devastating displays. |
Firewalker Bee | A headstrong and valiant yet ruthless bee dredged in heavy, fire-proof armor. He inflicts ghastly swathes of flame that consume anything in their wakes. Nevertheless, some kinks will have to be worked out before this combustible technology is even close to safe. It is far from perfect. |
Pythoness Bee | Her bewitching appearance coupled with her mastery in snake charming has bestowed upon her great prestige. Beware, her sorcerous and cunning strategies allow her to ravage anything that dare opposes her. |
Escorgier Bee | Sequestered from a kingdom, only to rise even higher in another. This bee has known forlorn solitude and glorious renown alike. He uses his powerful proficiency in whips to thrash anything in its way in any form—be it a theatrical show or a gritty scuffle. |
Mobs[]
This section is currently unfinished. Please wait for the page owner to add more information.
Poison Dart Frogs[]
The Poison Dart Frogs are 6 differently colored frogs with their own special attributes. Their main defining feature is their poison, which has a random chance to apply when the player is attacked by these frogs. Through the use of the Blowgun - an empty one specifically - the poison dart frogs' poison can be extracted and coated into the Blowgun's ammo of darts for the player to use. Additionally, similarly to aphids, they can ambush the player from fields of their color [e.g. Furious (red) Dart Frog in the Lychee Field] but unlike aphids, they have one true nesting grounds on Lonely Isles where 3 of the same color variant of dart frog may appear, and changes via a cycle every 34 minutes, one minute more than two of the dart frogs' respawn cooldowns). Vicious Bee's Gifted Hive Bonus does not affect these respawn cooldowns.
Name | Information |
---|---|
Furious Dart Frog | A far more aggressive and nimble variant of the dart frogs. Dragging an Empty Blowgun over this crimson colored frog will turn it into a Scrambler Blowgun. If the player manage to get hit by one of these Furious Dart Frogs, they will be inflicted with the Scrambling debuff yourself. This makes the player's bees have a higher chance to miss and will lose energy faster. Critical chance is also drastically lowered. Lasts 10 seconds. |
Jinxing Dart Frog | An orange colored variant of the dart frog that only attacks occasionally. Dragging an Empty Blowgun over this dart frog variant will coat the darts, turning it into the Vulnerability Blowgun. The Jinxing Dart Frog has a small chance to inflict the Vulnerable debuff to the player. When the player has this status effect active, they are more prone to attack by x1.25, alongside the Jinxing Dart Frog(s) attacking at a faster rate. This debuff lasts 15 seconds, and cannot be reapplied by the same Jinxing Dart Frog, unlike the other variants. |
Haughty Dart Frog | A goldish-yellow variant of the dart frog. Although its attack patterns are artificially generated, the Haughty Dart Frog has a programmed "personality" that much of the player base assumes as being a perfectionist, ergo the name "Haughty" - of course alongside the fact that its color is gold, something often associated with richness or financial superiority. The Haughty Dart Frog takes the longest to attack, but when it does, it will always inflict more than its base attack. The Haughty Dart Frog will resist any and ALL attempts to coat the player's darts with their poison via an Empty Blowgun. The Haughty Dart Frog has a large chance to inflict the Hijacked debuff to the player. The Hijacked Debuff will disable a random passive from the player's list of passives above their hotbar. Although this only works on the first hijack, once the Hijacked debuff reaches the second stack (effect cap), an additional cooldown of 30 seconds is added to all of the player's passives. The debuff lasts 64 seconds, or when the Haughty Dart Frog is defeated. |
Ensnaring Dart Frog | A green colored variant of the dart frog. This is the only variant of the dart frogs that have multiple attacks. Dragging an Empty Blowgun over this frog will coat the darts with the Ensnaring Dart Frog's poison, turning it into the Ensnaring Blowgun. The Ensnaring Dart Frog's attacks are listed below:
The Ensnared status effect makes the player and all their bees move slower when in nearby proximity to all nearby mobs. |
Lackluster Dart Frog | A blue colored variant of the dart frog. This is the only variant of the dart frog that does not attack the player directly, or even at all. Instead, the player's bees have to attack it instead. When the HP threshold has been diminished (base 500, +65 every 4 levels), the Comatose status effect will be inflicted to the player. The "Comatose" status effect will gradually make all of your bees sleepy and will slightly regenerate the player's health points, but slows down the movespeed, gather rate and all speed statistics of the player and the bee to an extreme degree, at x0.1. During this time, the player can only wait until the time limit of the Lackluster Dart Frog to expire, or defeat the Lackluster Dart Frog entirely, which requires a powerful attack hive. The only true way to "defeat" the Lackluster Dart Frog is by avoiding it. The fanbase also calls this dart frog the "Lazy Dart Frog". Dragging an Empty Blowgun over this frog will have a 1/5 chance to coat the darts in the Lackluster Dart Frog's poison, turning it into the Paralysis Blowgun. This is especially unusual, as other dart frogs are guaranteed to coat the darts in poison with the exception of Haughty Dart Frog which removes the chance entirely. This may be due to the lackluster amount of poison the frog creates. |
Lethargic Dart Frog | The purple colored variant of the poison dart frogs. Dragging an Empty Blowgun over this frog will coat the darts in its poison, turning it into the Torpor Blowgun. These types of dart frogs are especially rare, as they require to always spawn alongside another variant of dart frog, e.g. the Haughty Dart Frog. If the player gets hit by the Lethargic Dart Frog, they may inflict the Torpor debuff onto the player. The Torpor debuff prevents all regeneration, including consumables, passive activations and bees of the Healing class. This status effect lasts until the Lethargic Dart Frog is defeated or if its partner frog is defeated. |
Buffs & Debuffs[]
This section is currently unfinished. Please wait for the page owner to add more information.
Buffs & Debuffs are a core gameplay mechanic in Bee Swarm Simulator, especially in Stardrop Island; where their uses are far more diverse and useful. They may amplify or diminish the player and the bees' performance based on the effects they provide.
All status effects can be found in the top margin of the screen, above the main menu. The effects are sorted from left to right, with newer effects appearing on the right.

Shafts[]
Mining is one of the core features of Isle Stardrosia. The Shafts can be found with a boulder blocking the entrance by the 10 Bee Gate, but can be removed through the completion of each of the 10 Bee Gate NPCs' 10th quest, with the exception of Scout Bear which only appears after the boulder has been removed. The Shafts have no total or maximum amount of levels, but instead uses a Depth Meter to determine how deep a player has gotten. These Shafts are riddled with mobs and ores.
Expeditions[]
Chasm Raid[]
The Chasm Raid is an Expedition located at the 30 Bee Zone. The player must have completed Prospector Bear's 15th Quest: "Eldritch Excavation" in order to activate the Chasm Raid, destroying the Brigand Campsite as it collapses in itself, transforming into the Endless Chasm. The Chasm Raid allows the player, alongside 25 of their own bees to journey into the pits of the chasm. This expedition uses health and status effects for bees. If a bee manages to get to 1 health, the bee will be unable to continue and will return to the Farmstead.
Collectors will collect pollen by x0.333 during the Chasm Raid.
The ancestral castle of your forefathers,
having fallen deep into the earth - lost and forgotten.
The first Biome, the Medieval Ruins. It takes the theme of the ruins of castles from the medieval period, lore-wise being that of the player's ancestors. Upon venturing into this Biome, the player will find a Decrepit Tent. It is required to be fixed before adventuring further into the Biome. When the player attempts to fix it, an Ambush is guaranteed to occur.
An ambush lasts 3-4 waves, each wave having more and/or stronger enemies until the final wave, an additional +1 per Biome. Here, enemies will pour from the side and frontlines and must be defeated through the use of a weapon (either secondary or primary tool.) A personal announcement appears after a wave has concluded, "The nth troops of the ambuscade have fallen!" Another will appear during the start of the final wave, "Steel yourself, the final reinforcement is near."
Depending on the player's progress in an ambush, announcements may vary.
Variable | Announcement |
---|---|
Scratchless (100% health, 0 stat debuffs) | "Continue, dispatch these brigands! More will come." |
Grazed (≤80% health, ≤1 stat debuff) | "Tis but a scratch. Brace yourself, harder enemies are approaching." |
Roughened (≤50% health, ≤3 stat debuffs) | "Do not fall to those bandits. Rise up. Destroy them all." |
Maimed (≤35% health, ≤5 stat debuffs) | "Despair settles in. A dance with death appears imminent." |
Once the ambushing party is defeated, they retreat to alert others of their kind. The Decrepit Tent is repaired subsequently after the battle, transforming into the Outpost. The player requires to use up 5 of its bees to manage each Outpost of a Biome. (Bees will return to Hive after the expedition, but will stay there on subsequent visits to the Chasm Raid unless switched for other bees. Outposts regularly reveal more information about the Biome they're in, may unlock new enemies and extra loot, and may be available to teleport to.
At this point, the next sets of rooms are dependent on random number generation. Each room has a 35% chance to have an encounter with enemies.
There are other various locations worthy of note, including:
The Shrine, a place of worship, now lays squalid and neglected for eons. Undisturbed by even the earliest settlers, the Shrine remains as a temple of connection to the ruins' ancient pantheon. On each of the walls are bygone hieroglyphics, with no chance of translation, though the handwritings and calligraphies seem full of zeal, proud and unwavering. The fountains in each of the four cardinal directions, north, south, east, and west, all contain water, with the pipes barely able to work. Each Shrine has three working fountains that heal the player and may grant some stat buffs, the other being a trapped fountain that alarms nearby foes and sets off another ambush (locked to 2-3 waves.)
The Athenaeum, a lost place that once prioritized learning and reading. Uncanny anomalies may be found from the athenaeum, blurring the line between fiction and reality. Stranger still, books and novels of literature seem to appear and disappear all the time, without chronological sense. Some of these books can be read, though most were ripped and shredded, possible the aftermath of some vehement battles. Inquisitor Hawks may occasionally be found wandering the aisles of the athenaeum, writing down their own knowledge or reading someone else's. These aisles may contain arcane knowledge, either wise or forbidden.
There are 5 interactable Books located in an Athenaeum. 3 will grant the Wise Knowledge buff, 2 will grant the Forsaken Knowledge debuff, and another will trigger the entrance to a secret room. A door will then open, which can be entered through harmlessly (closes again on subsequent visits) and reveals a Runic Tome trinket.
- Wise Knowledge Buff: Your bees are filled with a sense of assurance and determination.
- +10% Critical Chance
- x0.8 Miss Chance (+x0.05 per level difference)
- Forsaken Knowledge Debuff: Existential dread... your bees are filled with a sense of hopelessness...
- -8% Critical Chance
- x1.3 Miss Chance (+x0.05 per level difference)
Various shortcuts lead to the Conduits, but perhaps too many. It contains a myriad of winding tunnels and liminal dead ends. Pipes may burst from the ground, poisonous water may leak, taking some of your foes (and even bees) along for the ride inside the conduits. This is one of the more challenging locations to have an encounter in. An average Conduit maze contains around 14 sub-rooms, which lead to a central Conduit room.
There is a 30% chance for the central Conduit room to contain a copper pedestal which contains a Trapped Strongbox. When opened, the room shatters, pipes burst and will lead to the second part of the Chasm Raid. Subsequent visits will only showcase a large, deep hole which the player can then fall into.
Hidden beneath medieval earths,
these were once places of worship... to an ancient pantheon long gone.
The entrance to Arcana Peaks is accessible via a dock, due to the island's ecosystem not being able to sustain everything it needs. In lore, it is used to ship goods to other islands for trade across the entirety of the archipelago.
Arcana Peaks is known for being the island populated mainly by blacksmiths or forgers, as the first people to come across the island were metalworkers. The island is smaller in comparison to other islands.
The island is accessible upon fixing the remains of the ancient pirate ship through a series of quests and puzzles, leading to the inexorable defeat of the main boss of Isle Stardrosia, the seasonal tyrant boss. Depending on the season, the boss may be one of the following: Springbloom Tyrant, Summerbloom Tyrant, Fallfade Tyrant or Winterwither Tyrant.
Arcana Peaks has a small landscape, with wooden infrastructure dominating the scenery. Inside, the Brewery - owned by Amy - The Brewery contains a subterranean aging room for storing wine, which can be rented from Amy for a price of 250,000,000 Honey per real-life month. She also hosts a variety of fermented items and may purchase them from the player as well.
Nearby the Brewery is the Smeltery, operated entirely by Blacksmith Bear. The Smeltery allows the player to craft their own Amulets, and additionally create alloys to forge into weapons. Later on the player may also apply various skins onto their weapons with a Forge Template in the Smeltery as well.
The main source of metals for the blacksmiths to work on are in a very deep, seemingly endless pit being explored by Adventurer Bear. Completing his first quest allows the player to visit it via the Crater Elevator repaired by Adventurer Bear. This acts as a save point as the player descends deeper into the crater, appearing every 10 levels (resets every season). The crater contains various metals, materials, and malicious monsters, getting more plentiful the deeper in the mines the player can get. Every 50 levels is a Boss Stage, which is a full on boss fight. Elevators will also not spawn in boss stages.
Nearby the Smeltery and the Brewery is the Botany Shop. It is operated by no one at the moment, but the player is still able to buy items.
Moreover, on the opposite side of the Botany Shop is Daisy and her daycare. Here, the player may release their Cub Buddies to play with them. Taking back the Cub Buddies after a certain amount of time grants a permanent boost called "Cub Love", boosting your Cub Buddies' performance. Completing Daisy's quests allows her to renovate her daycare, allowing a spot for some of your bees to gain bond away from the keyboard (up to 15 bees at once).
A nearby Rusted Tower hangs isolated, at a secret region of the map to the northwest. Hidden behind a tunnel that requires an Arcane Shard (an item found extremely rarely from foraging through leaves, appearing only once per account after completing Blacksmith Bear's Cryogenic Chaos quest) to be put inside the slot, unlocking the entrance to the tower's location.
Within this tower lies Klaus, a warlock who expands on the lore of the island. Completing his quests rewards valuable insights toward Arcana Peaks, and complete renovation of his tower. After the completion of his second questline - which is merely one quest - he will open the Netherworld Gates.
The Netherworld Gates is a variant of the Crater Dungeon, in a more "hardcore" setting with levels and an ending (but can be replayed indefinitely.) There are harder monsters, and exclusive prizes and materials. There is also no saving, and must be played from start to finish without stopping. Although there are more bountiful rewards, the main reason to complete the Netherworld Gates are for its Forge Templates. These Forge Templates act like set enchantments to be applied to tools within the Smeltery. These are unlocked initially by the Netherworld Gates itself, so completing it is useful later on.
After the completion of the Netherworld Gates' last and final level, a new quest giver will settle on the island, Inferno Buddy! He will occasionally visit the daycare, if the players' Cub Buddy is in the daycare with it, they will obtain a flaming trail that burns through flowers added to their Cub Love, although this is temporary, lasting for twice as long as how much Inferno Buddy stays in the daycare with the player's Cub Buddy. But while Inferno Buddy is not at the daycare, the player may talk to them for quests.
Additionally, at the finale of the Netherworld Gates, the player is able to teleport to any unlocked islands, and a secret island called "???".
To "complete" Arcana Peaks, the player must have all of these qualifications:
- Completed all NPC quests, including: Klaus, Blacksmith Bear, Amy, Inferno Buddy, Daisy, and Jungle Bear.
- Reach Level 500 of the Crater Dungeon and obtain the Statue of Darkening Depths.
- Optionally, reach Level 750 of the Crater Dungeon and obtain the Crater's Edge Skin Template.
- Complete the Netherworld Gates.
- Obtain the Blue Lily from the Jungle Fields.
